Travels around Spain
Spain is a diverse country cultural, architectural, climatic and geographicly. It is a cauldron of cultures where phoenicians, carthagineans, romans, germanic, arab, gypsies and northafrican people, merchants, sailors, tribes or armies settled over the centuries.
Different languages were -and are still- spoken until the moment when the Kingdom of Castille imposed its language as the common one over the basque, catalan or galician-portuguese as the result of the dinastic intermarriages and internecine wars between the different Iberian peninsula kingdoms.
